Recreation of the original Fantastic Four comicbook from the 1960's with a modern look. Trying to keep the art true to the comicbook feel yet not overly saturated with busy lines.

The booklet serves to showcase the typeface I created Kirby Lee as well as showing what the display typeface was created for.

The title pages between the functions and anatomy of the typeface shows the personality of the comic character with the typeface.

These pages shows the grid that I've created and used to create the characters.
Characteristics:
Inspiration of the Typeface:
The inspiration came from the original Fantastic Four comicbook from the 60's and humanistic sans serif like myriad or gill sans. Copperplate inspired the sharp chiseled serifs.

Point Size Range:
The range of the typeface is 6pt. to 144pt. for most print applications.
