This revival project is based on the early drawings of Monotype Plantin series 110 by Frank Hinman Pierpont and Fritz Stelzer. This particular version had a lot of weight and strength to it, features that seem to have disappeared in its digitized form. The main goal was to bring back these qualities, along with many other subtleties discovered along the way.
