A arte de capa é baseada em silhuetas de animais que representam a união pela revolução. A silhueta do porco está por fora para mostrar a posição deste animal perante os outros bichos. O uso do construtivismo foi escolhido devido ao período histórico do livro além da temática satirizar a ditadura de Stálin. 

O vermelho e o amarelo são cores utilizadas no movimento Construtivismo, mas, na capa, representam também o local onde eles vivem - a  "Granja Solar". O verde, apesar de não ser uma cor comum no Construtivismo, remete à bandeira feita pelos animais e a natureza. O moinho é uma obra almejada mas nunca concluída no livro. Ele representa o sonho impossível dos animais quando controlados por Napoleão, assim como a igualdade entre os animais. 

The cover art is based in animal silhouettes representing the union by the revolution. The pig shape is out to show the position of this animal before the others. The use of the Constructivism was chosen because of the historical period of the book. Also, the theme satirizes the dictatorship of Stalin.

 

The red and yellow colors are used in the Construtivism but, in this case, also represents the place where they live. Green, though not a common color in the Constructivism refers to the flag made by the animals and the nature. The mill is a desired but never finished work. It is the impossible dream of the animals when controlled by Napoleon, so as the equality among animals.
