"Tikunas" are an amazonian tribe. Their culture and ancestral knowledge let them understand how craft objects are a mean to comunicate that knowledge.
The result was the design of a packaging system for those crafts. In this case some red-wood dolphins made from a special native tree: "Palo de sangre" (Bloody Wood) due to its distinctive color.
There are some bracelets with the dolphins too. All the crafts have the colors and geometry used by the tribe. Mainly triangles with jungle and wildlife color palette.
The packaging also contain a little note with some of the Tikuna's anciente legends.
One of the principal problems with packaging is that when it is used, you throw it away. So this project tried to avoid that, by making a fully decorative piece of art to be placed in a table or desk.
