The intervention  on Piazza Augusto Imperatore is meant to regenerate the area bringing forth a pathway through Augustan era monuments. The strategy is meant to give rise to a contemporary ruin emphasizing the contrast between the new contemporary construction and the Ara Pacis and Mausoleum as Historic evidence. The harmony betwen the elements is secured by the chromatic and material affinity  between old and new.The project is developed following the ancient rules of Cardius and Decumanus, respecting the axial alignment which ideally connects the Mausoleum with the Ara Pacis maintaining via di Ripetta as a unique exception confirming the rule. The construction is the result of a aggregation process of single components within the Cartesian chart.
