England's Medieval Festival visual identity
England's Medieval Festival is the largest medieval event in the UK held every August at Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex. The festival welcomes everyone to enjoy a day out and see history come to life: jousting, castle siege, falconry shows, live music, medieval traders' market, taverns with ale, cider and authentic food and much, much more.
The visual identity system is built on the color and elements derived from the flag of England and features active Gill Sans typography over a set of hand-drawn illustrations to create a link between modern world and Middle Ages.
