The client, family of four members, purchased a land in a quiet part of town not far from the city center and intended to build a family house with a courtyard there. Parents are dentists, so they wanted dental clinic and office as a part of the house, while for their children they wanted spacious space, both inside the building and in the yard, protected from the noise.
The two-storey, 400m2 building is designed as a base in solid construction with an overlying timber frame construction. The house has a S-shaped plan built around the courtyard on the ground floor. The courtyard is accessible directly from outside and he bathroom and gym are located next to the courtyard so that one can directly enter there after relaxing time in pool. The children’s room, located on first floor, is also situated next to the courtyard so that they can comfortably study there while enjoying the view of the pool and the natural surroundings at the same time.
