an installation
The Sadhu Vaswani Museum in Pune required an electro- mechanical installation to depict a part of the Sadhu’s epic journey. The installation is a series of 16 foot long waves which move to and fro in respect to each other to create a wave pattern. This depicts the Hoogly river which the Sadhu and his faithful were journeying on. Boats are attached to the waves, which move along it with the help of motors and proximity sensors. All these movements are controlled and times through a central control box which operates with relay switches.
