Yuanlin Railway Grain Silos is located at a narrow site, clipped by Yuanlin railways. The silos, symbolizing the past Yuanlin, has been abandoned since 1984. However, it is simultaneously a landmark for train passenger in Yuanlin. The main purpose is creating a new type of library through planting two contrastive programs, library and rock climbing. Library enhance the vigor in this area, and a dynamic program, rock climbing, follows the context of vertical cylinder form. Through the combination of these two opposite program, it'll generate a new type and renovative space.
