Here are some of my stipple illustrations created since 2011. Some portraits are more detailed, done with smaller dots size and spacing, some hedcuts are more contrasted, all depending on client preferences and purposes.
Some notes about stipple portrait detailisation. Classic hedcut detailisation is the right choice in most of the cases, including web and printing. Extra detailisation is good only when you need to print on large sizes, in other cases, for example on small web avatars, smaller dots will melt in blur and then you will not be able to tell if it is hedcut or pencil drawing. So it's important to choose the right level of detailisation if you want your hedcut to look classy.
