This was the final group project for our second year of university, in which we were asked to produce our own publication. For our starting point we were given the word oxymoron, which then led us to the main concept for coin magazine. The key point raised by our publication was that controversial issues must be viewed from both sides, allowing the reader to form their own opinions. A flip mechanic was introduced where half of the magazine was printed upside down, showing the divide between for and against. This allowed us to essentially present both sides of the same coin.

The first issue for our magazine was about the legalization of marijuana.
The marijuana issue had a medical themed label wrapped around the front cover. This effectively sepperated key information from the featured image.
This was a promotional, interactive "poster" which demonstrated our concept for a two sided magazine. As a group, we decided that a plinko board was the perfect way of physically representing a persons changing opinions towards a subject.
