During my senior year at the University of Redlands, I became the Integrated Communications Intern at the University’s Department of Communications. There, I sorted and edited files through Adobe Bridge and Photoshop along with various other duties as an intern. But I wanted to do more.

A week after I started my internship, I went to the university's radio station, KDAWG, on an assignment for my job as a newspaper photographer. After talking with the station manager, I discovered KDAWG's website was merely a photo of the logo with suggested links to their social media pages. I knew I could utilize the skills I was learning in my web design course to build them a informative, functional, visually appealing website.

I offered my help and became KDAWG's Creative Consultant. Through my work, KDAWG's website was created in just a month. During that time, I art directed photoshoots with professional photographers for KDAWG's website while simultaneously taking on the duties of web designer, graphic designer, and photographer by creating logos for each show and photographing events.
