This self-initiated project is the begging development of a website for personal use to promote work and use as a portfolio site. The colours utilises that of a personal brand that makes for interesting visuals and helps enhance the images and type. The layout is simple and easy to use with smooth navigation between projects and pages. The website layouts were then mocked up onto a computer screen to give a sense of scale and how it would look in use.

 

Following the website a infographic CV has been created but with a twist on the standard CV. this has been designed to fold up into the same size as a business card, similar to a pocket map, this then means that the CV can be carried around with ease and takes up minimal space. The front contains all of the desired information an employer needs and featured on the back is a small snippet of work from three projects that will then entice the view to look further into the work produced by the designer.

 

The covers of the CV are the business card of the designer so it has the self brand and contact information, that makes the finding contact information without opening the CV for the purpose of ease as the people that look at CVs are often busy and will have a lot of other CVs to look through, so finding the desired information quickly is important
