ATARAXIA is a 2D animated short film, combined with hand-drawn animation. The abstract visual style achieves a raw and visceral effect, using various colors to convey diverse emotions.
ATARAXIA is about an introvert who is always extremely sensitive to everything in the external world. Any disquieting stimulation could affect or even hurt him. Through adjusting his mental balance to relieve mental pressure and keep emotion in control, he achieves peace and freedom from mental disturbance.
ATARAXIA was selected by MetroCAF (Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival) in 2015 and Snowtown Film Festival in 2016.
