Rubber Mulch Play Surfacing

Rubber mulch play surfacing is a playground surface type that is well suited to play facilities that are either muddy or installed around timber play equipment and trails. This particular surface is made up of resin-mixed rubber granules that form a hard rubber surface type. This is then applied onto a geotextile membrane, and is applied at a 40mm depth to ensure the surface type meets the critical fall height (CFH) requirements set for play facilities within the UK. To lean more regarding this surface type and the process of installation, please make sure to take a look at this page: Rubber Mulch Construction
Rubber Mulh Play Surfacing itself does an excellent job in ensuring the safety of the children using the playground facility on a regular basis. This is due to the fact that rubber mulch (similarly to wetpour) has an impact absorbing nature that meets the CFH as previously mentioned. As a result of this, falling onto this surface is much safer than falling onto traditional play area surface types, and is a great asset to any play area. To understand fully about this surface tpye and its advantages, why not check out our rubber mulch surfacing page here: http://www.softsurfaces.co.uk/surface-types/rubber-mulch/rubber-mulch-surfacing/
Finally, rubber mulch can also be installed in a variety of locations such as a tree surround, and can be specified in a variety of colour choices to apropriately suit your establishment.
