This piece was done during the one month Masterclass #15 at the State of Art Academy.
The month was packed with learning new stuff from techniques, tools, workflows and many other things. We were all amazed by our own end results, but of course we wouldn't have done it without the help and direction of the tutors at SOA. My final image below relied heavily on post production, which was mostly done with the help of Roberto De Rose from SOA. Nevertheless, I'm also putting my thought and work process behind till I reached my own end result, and the final one with the help of Roberto.
On a side note, that month was AWESOME!
At the begining of the Masterclass, we were asked to imagine a storyline that we want to include our piece of architecture in. We were required to write a very brief story that would conceptualize an image in our heads. My story went as follows;
"Sometimes it's good to be alone. I don't know if it's day or night, but it sure is dark and damp. There's a small wooden boat outside in the lake, floating, alone. The smell of rain and earth and mist makes me feel peaceful, but so does the howling of the wolves in the mountainous jungle behind. The fireplace is illuminating the room behind me. I'm out on the terrace now and the sky is getting clearer, its a full moon, and a bright one.
Maybe that's why it seemed dark and bright outside. The water is still, but the mist and the moonlight make it seem as if it's dancing. The hues of green and blue are fading within the darkness, but shining in the moonlight. Such desolate beauty."

Before working on the final image with Roberto, I made a couple of post production trials on my own, this was my own solo final result..
