This band needed a name and brand. As an alternative rock cover band (covering 90's and 00's rock and metal) it needed to be a little 'gritty' but emulate South Africanism. In South Africa, a "Loose Draw" is a single cigarette that can be purchased at stores and side-street vendors. This led to thinking about cigarette brands - in particular cheaper brands that would be purchased by the average person. The logo therefore borrows colours and imagery to create a brand that is reminicent of this pastime but also of the underground music scene in South Africa.
