Disassemble is an interactive, large-scale, cardboard installarion. It's simple modular design allows the audience to build appon or 'disassemble the piece as they please.

 

The concept was part of a collaboration with Archonic Magazine, for the launch of their second issue 'Dis-assemble'.

Experimentation began with the module shape and how they would piece together. A lot of time was spent playing with different configurations using a scale model.

The final design was lasercut from recycled cardboard, making it light and more approachable for the audience. Material choice was also made for the small project budget and lower environmental impact.
