Struggles for a child with OCD

Sometimes as a designer, we have to deal with unusual information or solve problems you may not of considered before. This challenge was to find a brief outside of Graphic Design and answer it in a visual way. I found a psychology brief and took an essay answer and visually interpreted it. The essay was about educational contributions to Paediatric OCD. I made an editorial piece highlighting the emotions, difficulties and treatments for those suffering with OCD. The idea is the large format, stock, misplaced text and altered font are to subconsciously distract the reader. The back of the newspaper is coated in ink, so as the reader picks up the paper their hands will unknowingly be covered in black ink and leave black finger prints and marks all over the document. In the newspaper has a poster A2 size, this is to promote the anxious feelings children with OCD suffer with and answers the question on the cover of the newspaper
