ABERCROMBIE & FITCH: Trench Art Beauties

An assortment of A&F Vintage Bottoms inspired by WWII soldier's "Trench art" found on a variety of products including pocket knives, journals, bomber jackets, and military aircraft.
Military influences were always an integral part of the design process when creating a line for A&F as it was essential to create tension with the overall preppy overtones. The webbed belt accessory was also inspired by military issue pieces.
Our beautiful Betty.
Authentic design details were pulled from unique vintage pieces as were the destroyed washes and repair work.
For the art to be compatible with the garment's design lines, partnership with the graphic department was essential to making this product work and look authentic.
Leather accents and distressed, antique finishes on the metal hardware reinforce the rugged military theme throughout this concept.
Hand painted details helped cultivate a one-of-a-kind experience for each piece offered to the consumer.
Pigment printed canvas. Heavy Sandblasting, Tinting, Stone Wash, Tacking, and Edge Abrasion all developed in-house as a standard to be followed overseas by our vendor.
