By casting a pile of lose teeth, I am confronting the viewer with the potential loss of their own personal power and status, both of which teeth are symbolic of. I am evoking feelings of dread and fear within the viewer in order to spark a conversation on the connotations of this loss and the multitude of ways that it may occur.
