Greek vs. Susa Phone Case
For the course Art History: Beginning to Renaissance we were challenged to create a piece of art that is practical in our modern times, but reflected from the art history we studied. I chose to contrast the early Greek pottery and the Susa pottery styles. I noticed that geometric style phone cases were very popular with the students at my college, I created this as a response. The style dates back very far and yet continues to show up in our society in different products.

I took inspriation from 6th-5th century Susa Pottery (first image) and 9th-8th century Greek Pottery (second and third image).
