Experimental Hood/Scarf design

The task description was to design an experimental wearable that would enhance the wearer's feeling of connection to biodiversity. We designed a hood/scarf that had inset pouches of region-native herbs. We based our prototype off the idea of pollination, imagining a situation where this product was widely available; when users met and naturally exchanged the Montreal-typical greeting of cheek-kissing, they would each be presented with the scent of the others' native region. Our project was shown at the Botanical Gardens of Montreal for a week, along with the other projects of our class.
Some initial sketches- the initial hood was meant to be laser-scored felt.
