QuickStart to Animation

I enjoyed learning about animation. The creation of making the turret seem to come to life was fun.
I learned a lot of things involving animations involving F-Curs and key frames. I also learned how to create and export an animated video in order to publish it or save it to a flashdrive.
Later on I continued on this project for a contest which i came out with a 1st in state medal. The animation included jumping while focusing on the movement of the turret's feet and head.
This project is focused on the animation of a turret having a little fun on ice. The idea came from a series of ideas going from dancing, to spinning, then sliding. To create a more humorous feel to the animation I had the turret get its barrel stuck in the mud wall towards the end.  I created the floor and walls textures procedurally in Cinema 4D by hand tweaking noise algorithms. After putting in different camera angles and animating them on splines, the video of the animation became more interesting. Lastly I created different camera views and subtle motions to provide a more engaging experience for the audience.
