Bodega is a typeface inspired by the letters adorning bodega awnings across my borough of Brooklyn, New York: utilitarian, bold, and often stretched, squashed, or otherwise warped. Bodega is a geometric typeface with humanist characteristics and quirks that reflect the character of its source.
