As part of the Marketing Communications class at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, we were given the opportunity to work with St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation to propose a visual treatment for their monthly donor program. For this project, a unique visual treatment, direct-mail envelope, micro-site landing page, and full-page advertisement was developed to put a focus on the monthly donation program.

This concept was one of four selected to be presented to the Foundation’s marketing team.

Simple icons communicate areas of care provided at St. Paul's, with each one depicting the connection between patient and staff as well as the stages of care and recovery. The echoing of these icons with a corresponding photograph shows the depth and compassion at St. Paul's as being more than that of a typical, clinical hospital.

The front facade illustration of the hospital not only showcases the historic architecture of the hospital but also to highlight St. Paul's uniqueness within the modern urban landscape of downtown Vancouver.

Designed to fit comfortably among St. Paul’s existing branding, the warm red and burgundy are carried over from the brand colours into the visual treatment of the monthly donor program.
