Sol Besò
Sol Besò was a student project I did where I wanted to see if I could give fruit juice the same sense of class and elegance that some alcholic drinks have.

I remember on a trip to Greece, women would sit around the pool drinking fancy mixers and cocktails, as well as iced tea etc and that is where I wanted this product to sit.

The drink is made of Sanguinelli  (blood orange) and Lemon and the 'idea' is that it is made in the south of Spain which is where the very first lemons in Europe where grown and traded. Based on this I began designing a brand that drew influence from the walls of the Alhambra and it's Islamic and Christian patterns. The bottle also exudes a very mediterainean feel which gives it a rather sexy, summery and slightly higher class air.

I designed the bottle to be very feminine and elegant with a slim, slender neck. The labels would all be printed on to the bottle so as to avoid cheapening the image with stick on labels. The cap has a cover that you tear off, similar to that of champagne or a good wine.

Being a fruit juice alternative to alcoholic drinks, the look needed to be elegant and classy to fit in as a great alternative.
