Hi! These are all my projects from my Problem Solving class. In this class we took alternative materials to make wearable art. Enjoy!!
This project we were given 3 words and had to make a sort of wearable art form of them. I got cream feminine blob so I used cording and swirled them around my feminine form!!
For this project we had to design wearable art for the Aveda Trashion Show. We had to use only reusable items like paper and plastic bags that are more then just one use items. I wanted my design to have a moral so I ripped up pictures of nature and ripped up plastic bags to resemble smog. Between these materials I wanted to potray that we, humans are destroying nature as the black is cracking thorugh and around the nature pictures.
The plastic bags or the smog is starting to cover my models face like smog is starting to take over big countries such as China.
For this project we had to be inspired by a painting from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I choose the cubist painting Man with a Violin by Picasso. I used all types of boxes and created the painting with the exact details and scale of the painting! Below is the whole painting laid out.
