Zazie nel metrò: una "rimediazione" visiva.
Un progetto editoriale nell'epoca del nuovo artigianato.

La tesi si struttura partendo dalla considerazione, dopo un analisi storica, di come,
in un epoca digitale, la pagina del libro cartaceo sia rimasta immutata
e di come potrebbe assumere un aspetto visivo senza perdere la propria identità.
A monte quindi vi è lo studio di come i nuovi dispositivi tecnologici, e-reader e tablet,
ma prima ancora la pagina web, influenzano e potrebbero cambiare il modo in cui
siamo abituati a leggere e a scorrere una pagina di testo. Il progetto perciò consiste
nella realizzazione di un libro visivo cartaceo che, senza alterare o ridurre il contenuto,
possa facilitarne e ampliarne la leggibilità e l’interpretazione.
Questo genere di sperimentazione si applica al progetto di realizzazione dell’edizione
visuale di Zazie nel metrò di Raymond Queneau, progetto pilota per un nuovo approccio
delle hybrid-novel autoprodotte.

The thesis, after analysing the historical background, considers how in a digital era the page
of the paper book has remained unchanged and how it could acquire a visual without loosing
its own identity. Primarily, there is the study of how new technological devices such
as e-readers and tablets, and before that web pages, influence and could change the way
we are used to read and page through a text. Therefore, the project consists of the creation
of a visual paper book that, without altering or reducing the content, can facilitate and extend
its readability and interpretation.
