The Tremors poster is designed around the scene where a little girl is tackled off of her pogo stick which remains standing on the ground from an unseen subterranean monster which sensed her vibrations.
The Fargo poster depicts the infamous fence out in the featureless frozen tundra of North Dakota where the ransom money is buried and forgotten about, (a Coen Brothers trademark.)
Cherry 2000 tackles the actual theme of the movie which is the mass produced or homogenized nature of androids versus the uniqueness of humans. The best way to depict this abstract concept, I found, was showing the high contrast in hairstyle between the two representative movie characters.
