We had an assigment in which we had to make an illustration using the concepts of mexicaness and paralelism between a mexican figure and one from pop culture. I choose to use "La Malinche" and "Mary Antoinette" as both women we considered traitors to their nation, although I believe they were more victim of the circumstances. So the final illustration is a mix of french-revolution and colonial mexican characteristics.She is dressed in an opulent manner, but with mexican garments and jewerly, she has a french hairdo but her ornaments are typical mexican flowers. She has french features but mexican skin tone and hair color.
