Our take on the traditional fairytale story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We wanted the image to reflect the whimsical nature of a fairytale whilst portraying the scene as if in real life. We wanted the beanstalk to have movement and capture the vastness of the scene. Background photography was shot by John parker and was the basis to which the fairytale CGI elements could be added.
A single part of a multi-part composite, which meant we could get a very high resolution backplate to work with, as each tile was shot on a Hasselblad.
