THE SHELTER
Cosy, sweetly masculine and sensational
A traditional but yet unusual home in the north of Italy, completely redesigned and conceived all around the major porch that has been turned by the project into a double hight veranda, with a wide mezzanine and a spectacular bookcase covering the entire main wall of the room.
The interior mood is cosy but masculine, to fit the style of the houseowner: a curious and cultivate traveler, considering the house as a point of departure for the next trip rather than the center of his life but willing to spend his few precious moments of intimacy in a charming design, easy to live and studied to fit his entire lifestyle rather than just his personal tastes.
Soft details make the project unique: the higher ceiling covered in plaid patterned cotton fabric, and the secret door hidden in the bookcase leading to provate rooms.
