Westbury on Trym side extension

Henleaze side extension 2010
A tight squeeze on a tapering plot
Again a very typical house of the area, this one is on a tight tapering plot with not much room to the side, none the less it worked and gave an extra bedroom with en-suite upstairs, and a new garage and family area on the ground floor. Notice how the extension is stepped back and the roof line stepped down. This is how Bristol City planners like to see extensions and the result has been complimented as looking very balanced
The front of the house as it was
The build in progress, notice the footpath tight up to the boundary and the lamp post, this made things a bit more tricky but not nearly so much as the main sewers which pass along under the path.
