Winged
You don’t have wings, simply a bare back and spine
You need courage and protection to keep you aligned
So flutter your wings and create a cape
A flap of wings so you can escape
Don’t let the others break your wings
Stand up high with the poise of a king
Let these wings be the guide to your path
Fly your way through this evil wrath
Leave behind this cold existence
Feel the wind give a sweet resistance
Like birds, we fly away
 Winged creatures depart the day
No limits beyond the sky.
You may already know how to fly
In your heart you must confide
All along, you had it inside

Winged

You have escaped the cage. Your wings are stretched out. Now fly.
