Canteen is a literary and arts magazine published bi-annualy. The magazine consists of photos, essays, stories, and poetry by both well-known and amateur writers and artists. When redesigning the magazine, it was important to keep the focus on the content, while still enhancing the brand through a more modern and dynamic approach. By using a complex grid system as well as a new format, we were able to create a more organized and streamlined framework that prioritizes the art and stories.
