In this collaboration project with North Kingdom and Converse we were given a pair of plain white Chuck Taylor All-Stars and the task of hacking them in any way we saw fit. The project was a one day hackathon.

“The Conversonar” is a shoe with a built in IR distance sensor that gives you an auditory feedback on your distance to anything in front of you. The conversonar is designed for people with visual impairments and is meant to be a fresh alternative to a white cane or an assistance dog.
