The Festas de Lisboa are traditional festivities celebrated in the city streets, where the historic neighborhoods are adorned with colorful colors, the houses decorated with basil in the windows, and the sardines are eaten on the bread.
Since 2011 EGEAC has launched the Sardinhas Festas de Lisboa competition, where the winning sardines are used in the communication materials that promote the feasts.
This year with the theme My life could be a sardine, I chose to represent the moments where I miss my country the most, and my favourite thing to do is listen to some portuguese music, more particularly fado.
