Concept Statement

 

                Mrs. and Ms. Morris new apartment will be their special scape after a long day at work. Ms. Morris Japanese back ground and inherited collection is the inspiration for their apartment. Modern and intricate furniture pieces will be part of the furniture selection. To bring the outside in, wood floor and wood finishes will be applied throughout the space . The color palate will consist of neutral colors with accents in green and yellow creating a beautiful adjacent combination.  The colors will be reproduced on the textiles and wall as a main focal point. Their home will be a warm, calming and inviting space. To achieve that, the interior will have an open layout. Line shape and form will be reflected on the furniture, consisted in simple clean form. Finally, the Morris family will have a modern yet Zen home.
