Having always been fascinated with the future and what it may hold for us - and the future of the world -
I decided to delve into the subject for my final major project.
I decided to delve into the subject for my final major project.
I chose to create the app as a tool to educate and inform the audience of a few key areas; the futurist movement, astonishing present-day space projects, near-future products and a hypothetical timeline.
The app was built from scratch in Origami Engine, a new design interface. Having never designed an app before, this was a very steep learning curve which involved me learning the software from scratch. Because of the infancy of the software, I also worked fairly closely with some of the development team with issues and bugfixing along the way.
