the body, corporation

Corporation is a group of entities authorized to act as a single unit and recognized by law. It is created by a group of shareholders who have ownership of the corporation, represented by their holding of common stock.

The microbes present in our bodies are seen to be the actors behind various functionings of the organism. What if this microbiota could be optimized for serving activities external to the human body? This project explores the notion of increasing productivity in a culture that values efficiency in both output and multitasking.

As an illustration of this concept, the persona of a pedicurist is placed at a critical juncture where the daily duties entail multitasking, physical contact and potential contamination situations. What if the body could work as a corporation and not just as a corpus?
