JCORP's third collaboration with JMZ Walls, a mural collective based in Bushwick, Brooklyn. There had been a recent history of conflict in the neighborhood that resulted in many murals and public artworks being vandalized out of resentment towards gentrification; many pieces that respected artist peers of mine, as well as my own works, had fallen victim to these hateful acts. This piece can be considered somewhat as a response from my part, to say that with love for art and a clear sense of purpose, we can all move beyond these hurtful activities and instead work towards building a beautiful and encouraging community that we can all thrive in.
