Reflecting on my past work, there is a textural theme that can be seen throughout. It is typically something that inspires me and something that can be seen in the pieces I create. In the process of creating repeat pattern designs, I wanted to explore creating patterns for fabrics pulling inspiration from the texture and shapes of actual fabrics and garments. I looked at sculpural garments and fabric manipulation. The patterns that resulted are highly layered with variations of color opacities. The collection is designed for the use of creating garments.
