The process of how I restored a Gsxr-750.
Found in a Craigslist ad. Hasn't run for a few months.
Step one was to tear down the bike to check what needed to be fixed. The bike had a lot of mechanical and electrical issues, and it would not run.
After tuning it up, checking fluid levels, and completely rewiring the bike, it was ready for paint.
Sanding down the original paint, and fixing small dents and cracks with fiberglass.
Adding two coats of primer.
Two base coats of metalic blue.
Clear coat.
The finished panels and gas tank.
After a little buffing, the paint looked great.
