Stanfour Album Cover "4"

The Stanfour Band has invited artists and designers to create the art of its new album named "4". The proposal was to represent number 4, without showing the numeral 4 itself or the written form four.

The concept of the work is inspired by elements that represent number 4, and the various of possibilities I would have with these elements . I thought of a simple shape that is easy to understand (in this case I thought of a four-sided square). I built 4 squares with different shapes and colors, with the name of the band in the center. The forms and colors were inspired by the sounds, and emotions felt listening to the songs that have been released. After that, each square was torn into 4 pieces. I Separated one of each square that was torn, and created a new square.

I believe music is a little of this, a mixture of emotions and sounds that together form something unique.
