Happy Chinese New Year from the Microsoft store. Enjoy this moment with an extra large vector illustration that spans the entire length of the Microsoft store. From the luck signs flying in the sky to the happy sheep jumping on the clouds, this 57600 x 1080 pixel illustration has lots of holiday cheer all wrapped up inside.
For this concept, I created a lot of characters to build up the atmosphere of Chinese New Year, like the sheep which is the Chinese zodiac of 2015, Chinese dragon, firecrackers and so on. Comparing the designs between left and right walls, I brought out the composition of historical buildings on one side as well as modern city on the other side.
