iMac G4 The Animation (a pixar parody)
This animation was created as a final exam project for the 3D graphics course I attended for 2 years in Sweden, Kramfors. My interest for 3D animation started with the Pixar movie "Toy Story". Not only that but the first 3D models and animations I created were done on a first generation iMac. It seemed only fitting that a combination of these two milestones in my life should be mirrored in this final project for my 3D course.

The iMac model was deliberately given a slightly cartoonish (unrealistic) feel to keep in with the lighthearted tone of the animation. The setting for the animation is of course inspired by Pixar's opening logo animation with the luxor lamp. Since this was a final exam project for my 3D education everything from textures, models, lightning and animation were created from scratch by myself. I used XSI softimage for modeling, animation and rendering. Adobe Phogotshop to create the, in this case, rather simple textures. Finally the editing and audio effects were done with Adobe Premier.
