A larger than life military portrait statue of Sgt.Dan Brown will be a centerpiece for the Idaho Fallen Soldier Memorial in Jerome, ID
It will be built at the Gayle Forsythe Park where Sgt.Brown played as a child and where families and children gather every day.
Sgt.Dan is depicted reaching down to an Afghan boy. Because Dan always loved kids, the family wanted him portrayed playing with a child.
Sgt. Brown was just two weeks away from going home to Idaho. He never got to hold his twin baby daughters who are now 3 years old. (More photos of the statue and the story of Dan Brown here )
