For this second installment of Sktchy-inspired portraits, I wanted to pull together all the pieces I've painted digitally using Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom tablet. All portraits are referenced from submissions to an app for iOS called Sktchy.
 
These paintings, sketches, and experiments were all created sometime between January 2015 and March 2015.

 

I started working digitally in order to experiment more with color, value, texture, composition – and to simply learn to use a digital tool for art-making purposes (rather than design).
