"Part I of II"Artist/Photographer: SAMUEL LEWIS DAVIS III sd3 This series of photographs tell a visual story of the downtown occupation of City Hall in Philadelphia, PA. In October 2011, I stayed in Philly for three weeks documenting the inner city as well as the "OCCUPY PHILLY" movement. These photos speak on how the community of diverse demographics live, past the time, protest, educate, entertain and try to bring media attention to the outcry of hundreds of millions struggling US citizens. Citizens who are watching the cataclysmic rift between the "haves and the have nots" grow successively stock market quarter after stock market quarter. WE ARE THE 99%.
